This is the first time that I have purchased a 3D printed product and was very impressed by how well this mount fit my Mossberg Maverick 88 (plus how sturdy but light the mount is).

I have a side-saddle on my Mavrick 88 and was initially concerned that I may not be able to find this type of mount, given the difficulties that other products have in accommodating the shotgun side-saddles. I wanted to commend you all for the work you did to accommodate this shotgun accessory.

Will definitely consider purchasing other mount products you offer for my other firearms.

Tidy solution for 590 Special Purpose

Wanted a simple vertical mount for my trusty 590 in our camper. This did the trick. Since I mounted it muzzle up though, the weight of a loaded 8+1 590 pushes down enough to keep the receiver from locking into the mount's notch. Drilled a hole in the mount's post and sank a spring in there to counteract the mag spring, works fine now. Easy deployment also. It's an old mag spring so I'm guessing a new one will negate the need for the small one I fitted into the mount. Happy I found this.

Perfect Fit

The Spartan Mossberg 88/500/590 deep mount was the perfect fit for my Mossberg Shockwave 12 ga. with a side mount shell carrier.

Mossberg with a Crimson Trace Lasersaddle

I got a left facing mount because I am right-handed, and I got the DEEP version because I didn’t know if there would be enough room for my Lasersaddle that goes on the Mossberg. After getting it and trying it out, I am glad I got the DEEP version because there is enough room for the Lasersaddle and for me to get my hands around the shotgun without scratching my knuckles on the wall.

Simple Solution

Spartan Mounts provides a nifty product in their mounts for Mossberg shotguns. For those who want a solid mount allowing quick and easy access to their beloved shotguns, the regular Spartan mounts and the Deep Spartan mounts are the solution. Its minimalist profile is unobtrusive and showcases the firearm, not the mount. Spartan Mounts obviously keeps abreast of market trends and innovate their products accordingly -- the Deep mount is an example of this as side saddles for shotguns become increasingly popular. I would like to see Spartan develop a quick access but lockable mount (no cable lock but some kind of mechanism built into the mount). For now, after hours of shopping and attempting to piece together my own mount, Spartan has done all the work for me. Lastly, I emailed a question and the owner replied almost instantly and politely addressed my inquiry (about the Deep mount vs regular mount.)
